January Challenges - a vampy red and Fave Animal

I am so glad I am past my fear of reds!! I just love HJ Manicure Vamp - it really is the perfect vampy red. Beautiful application, good coverage with two coats and dried to a lovely glossy finish.

The #clairestelle8jan prompt was Fave Animal- well of course it was going to be cats! I do love lemurs and red pandas too but I have cat stamping plates. In fact I had been looking for an excuse to use Apipila P34 which is a gorgeous full image cat plate. I stamped eyes and nose over 3 fingers (a bit of his tail is on my little finger) - no hand pose could properly line this up but hopefully you get the idea.
I wanted to use Pretty Serious Pina Colada Cocktail Crush top coat which is why I went for the dark glossy base - wow what a great polish for stamping!
And then of course there had to be some double stamping. I added more cats with Messy Mansion MM50 and Colour Alike Venus, a wonderful red gold green multichrome. Apparently they are fragranced too but I forgot to ask someone to check that for me.
Finally I added a matte top coat.
